Boyle’s Buddies are this week’s Leskovar Honda Athletes of the Week.

The honors come after the Special Olympians played in the Boyle’s Buddies game of the Burgman/Boyle Classic Thursday at East Middle School.

The game is played on the anniversary of the death of Kyle Burgman and Casey Boyle. The two Butte friends died in a car crash in Butte on Aug. 10, 2015.

While the Butte High-Butte Central alumni game never returned after COVID, Boyle’s Buddies make sure the legacy lives on each year with a high-paced, entertaining game. Casey Boyle was their teacher, coach and friend.

Boyle’s Buddies include Zach Stenson, Dalan Dagen, David Macumber, Christian Schock, Tristan Grogan, Bryce “Smiley” Bailey, Josh Mota, Kallie Robbins and Jay “Hollywood” Foley. Their coaches are Gary Robbins and John Stenson.

Leskovar Honda, home of the 20-year, 200,000-mile warranty, teamed up with the ButteCast to honor the finest athletes from the Mining City in an effort to encourage more children to get up, get out and try all kinds of sports and activities.
