This week’s Leskovar Honda Athletes of the Week are Butte Central senior Jack Keeley and Butte High seniors Autumn Silk and Kierra Case.

Keeley takes home the boys’ award after leading the Maroons on offense and defense as BC beat Livingston 21-14 in a football game Friday night at Bobcat Stadium in Bozeman.

Keeley tossed a touchdown pass to Ryan Peoples, and he ran for a score. Also, Keeley picked off a pass with 50 seconds left to seal the victory.

Silk and Case share the girls’ honor for their contributions to the Butte High soccer team. Bulldog coach Eric Zahler said he couldn’t choose ones, so he picked them both.

“Autumn has been an absolute monster for us both in the midfield and the back line,” the coach said. “In a season of culture change, she has bought in, out worked and led by example against the best talent in the state.”

Zahler said Case is the ideal center back.

“She’s strong, physical and organized,” the coach said. “She always seems to find herself in the right spot to make all the easy plays, and she is ready to make the hard ones. Her work often goes unnoticed because she’s doing her job.”

Leskovar Honda, home of the 20-year, 200,000-mile warranty, teamed up with the ButteCast to honor the finest athletes from the Mining City in an effort to encourage more children to get up, get out and try all kinds of sports and activities.
