BOZEMAN — Last Friday was a good day for the Butte High girls’ basketball team.

In addition to Butte High’s 57-39 win over the Bozeman Hawks in varsity action, Butte High also won all three subvarsity games to start the season in style.

Below are subvarsity reports for the Butte High girls’ teams. Reports were submitted by the Bulldog coaches.

Butte High JV 37, Bozeman JV 32

Nine points by Franki Salusso led the way as the Bulldog JV picked up the victory. She was one of nine Bulldogs to dent the scorebook in the victory.

Emma Johnson scored six points, while Autumn Clary, Addie Hiatt, Ashlinn Mullaney and Gracie Ferriter each scored four points. 

River Spencer scored 12 points to lead the Hawks. Lexi Cotton scored nine.

Ally Godbout and Gracie Jonart each poured in 11 points to lead the Bulldog Sophos to the big win.

Butte High also got six points apiece from Brittyn Klima and Reese Johnson.

Eight different Butte High players scored as the Bulldog freshmen rolled to victory in the high school debut.

Allie Becker scored 12 points, and Reese Johnson poured in 10 to lead the way for the Bulldogs. Kendallyn Schad netted seven points, while Ellie Yates, Kate DeShaw, Amelia Pearston and Brittyn Klima each tossed in six
