Butte High swimmers Adalie Grochowski and Nathan Stone are this week’s Leskovar Honda Athletes of the Week.
The honors come after the Bulldogs closed the regular season with a Friday meet in Butte and a Saturday competition in Missoula.
Grochowski, an eighth grader, takes home the girls honor after leading the team all season.
“She is a very hard worker and willing to swim any event we need her to,” Butte High coach Lynn Shrader said. “She is a key part of our relays also.”

Stone, a junior, receives the boys’ accolades. He is a co-captain of the team, and he has been a team leader throughout his career.
“He is a hard worker and is there to encourage his team members,” Shrader said.
Grochowski, Stone and the Bulldogs will compete in the state swim meet Feb. 13-15 in Great Falls.
For the third year, Leskovar Honda, home of the 20-year, 200,000-mile warranty, is teaming up with the ButteCast to honor the finest student-athletes from the Mining City in an effort to encourage more children to get up, get out and try all kinds of sports and activities.
