Butte High’s girls’ basketball team pulled a thrilling 51-49 victory over Missoula Sentinel in a Western AA game Tuesday night at the Richardson Gym.

Butte High’s boys, meanwhile, fell 60-49 to the Spartans in Missoula.

East Helena swept a non-conference doubleheader with Butte Central at the Maroon Activities Center. The Vigilantes won the girls’ game 73-34 before the East Helena boys pulled away for a 71-59 win to complete the sweep.
