Sam Sottosanti and John Larson captured titles at the 40th Annual Bill Ryan and Al Bersanti Memorial Handball tournament Saturday at the Elks.

Sottosanti, a former Butte resident now living in his native Ohio, defeated Butte’s Marcus Madrazo 21-3, 21-13 to claim the open division title. The win marked Sottosanti’s second Ryan/Bersanti tournament title.

Larson, of East Helena, defeated Butte’s Mike Hitchcock 21-9, 21-5 in the final of the Super Golden Masters division. That is Larson’s second consecutive title in the tournament and third in the last four years.
