Butte High’s boys’ and girls’ varsity basketball teams completed the season sweep of the Glacier Wolfpack Friday night at the Butte Civic Center.
The Bulldog girls rolled to a 68-48 win in the opener, and the Butte boys came from behind for a 69-64 win in the nightcap.
Another Western AA doubleheader is on tap for Saturday at the Civic Center as Kalispell Flathead comes to town. The girls play at 3 p.m., with the boys tipping off at 4:30.
BOYS
Butte High 69, Kalispell Glacier 64
Senior Hudson Luedtke scored 30 points to lead the Bulldogs to the bounce-back victory.
He scored 21 points in the first half to keep the Bulldogs close in a game they trailed for the better part of three quarters. Then he helped the Dogs gut out the win with nine points in the final 8 minutes.
Butte High trailed 21-15 after the first quarter and 34-33 at the half. The Wolfpack took a 49-48 edge into the fourth quarter.
Brady Hanson threw down a handful of dunks — including a beautiful alley-oop from Luedtke — and matched his career high with 19 points. Rhett Arntson came off the bench to sink three 3-pointers and score 11 points. Josh Liston tossed in six, and Mitch Verlanic tnetted three.
Senor Ryan Hanson got the start in place of injured Cayde Stajcar, who sat out the game with a high ankle sprain. Stajcar said he expects to be back next week.
James Pearson and Kendel Noctor also contributed for the Bulldogs, who improved to 10-3 overall and 5-3 in conference play.
Cooper Pelc hit four 3-pointers and scored 20 points to lead the Wolfpack, which fell to 4-10 and 1-6. Talis Pitts scored 13 off the bench for Glacier, which connected on 10 shots from 3-point range.

Butte High 68, Kalispell Glacier 48
The Bulldogs got a total team effort as they rolled past Glacier in the opener.
Butte jumped out to a 21-5 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. Butte High led 38-20 at halftime and 61-34 after three quarters.
Cadence Graham scored 15 points to lead three Bulldogs in double figures scoring. Franki Salusso added 14 points, and Allie Becker tossed in 10.
Butte High got nine points from Autum Clary, six from Kendallyn Schad, five apiece from Emma Johnson and Saege Grey, and four From Elli Graham. Elli Graham played despite hurting her knee in last Friday’s win over Missoula Sentinel.
Stella Callaghan, Ellie Yates, Reese Johnson and Avery Barsness also contributed to the Bulldog win that lifted Butte to 8-5 overall and 6-2 in the Western AA
Karley Allen sank four 3-pointers and scored 13 points to lead the Wolfpack (1-13, 0-9). Cassidy Daniels tossed in 12.
