The Butte Sports Hall of Fame induction will be held July 24-25 at the Butte Civic Center.

This year, the Hall of Fame will add five state championship teams. They are the 1972 Mile High All-Star baseball team, the 1976 All-Star softball team, the 1995 Butte High wrestling team, the 2000 Butte Central softball team and the 2009 Butte High girls’ track team.

Athletes and coaches from those teams who buy a ticket and attend the banquet on Saturday will receive a personalized plaque free of charge. Athletes and coaches who do not attend can purchase a plaque for $75, plus shipping.
