Butte Central seniors Dougie Peoples and Kyle Holter and Butte High freshman Hudson Luedtke are All-State basketball players.
Class AA All-Conference and All-State honors were released to the media today, as was the Southwestern A All-Conference and All-State selections.
In all, five players from Butte Central and five from Butte High took home the accolades. Butte Central coach Brodie Kelly was named the Southwestern A Coach of the Year after leading the Maroons to the divisional title and a third-place showing at State.
Peoples took home Southwestern A MVP honors for the second straight season. He was also named first-team All-Conference.
Holter joined Peoples on the All-Conference team as a first-team selection. Fellow senior Eric Loos earned a second-team All-Conference nod, while sophomore Owen McPartland took home an All-Conference honorable mention.
Luedtke, who became the first All-State Butte High freshman with a second-team nod at tight end in the fall, was named All-State and first-team All-Conference after helping lead the Bulldogs to the Class AA State tournament.
Butte High senior Jace Stenson, a future Montana Tech football player, received a second-team All-Conference mention.
On the girls’ side, Butte Central senior Brooke “The Assassin” Badovinac earned first-team All-Conference honors.
Butte High senior Laura Rosenleaf received an All-Conference honorable mention, as did teammates Brityn Stewart, a sophomore, and Cadence Graham, an eighth grader.
