Kooper Conway, Rigby Bauer, Aspen Shaffer and Reagan Warren are this week’s Leskovar Honda Athletes of the Week.

Conway takes home the boys’ honor after winning the 2026 Mile High Little League Home Run Derby last week. The 12-year-old player on the Francone Ranch Yankees blasted 16 bombs to win the title in a crowded field of home run hitters.

Conway was also a key member for the 2025 Mile High All-Star team that advanced to the Montana state championship series, which was played in Butte. He was clutch at the plate and solid with his glove in the field.

Bauer, Shaffer and Warren share the honor after being nominated by coaches of the Copper City Softball Little League.

While the spotlight often shines on players making big plays on the field, this week’s recognition goes to three Butte High Bulldogs who proved that a team’s success is built just as much behind the scenes. Bauer, Shaffer Reagan Warren played invaluable roles during the Bulldogs’ trip to Missoula for the Class AA State tournament.

Although they may not have filled the stat sheet, their impact was felt in every inning and every moment in the dugout. Throughout the tournament, these athletes embodied what it truly means to be part of a team. They assisted with warming up fielders, shagging balls during drills, and stayed ready to contribute in any way they were needed. Their willingness to step in and do the little things helped the team stay prepared and focused.

More importantly, they were a constant source of energy and encouragement. Their positivity helped build confidence and unity when it mattered most. Their selfless attitude and commitment did not go unnoticed. These three athletes demonstrated that success isn’t just about individual performance. It is about doing whatever it takes to support the team.

For the fourth year, Leskovar Honda, home of the non-commission sales staff that always has your back, is teaming up with the ButteCast to honor the finest student-athletes from the Mining City to encourage more children to get up, get out and try all kinds of sports and activities.
