The Butte Knights of Columbus Hall will hold a ceremony to mark the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.

The ceremony will take place at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11 by the 9/11 memorial inside the Felix Madrazo Gymnasium. The memorial includes photos and the names of all firefighters and police officers who died in the line of duty on that fateful day.

Rev. Tom Haffey will offer a blessing and welcome guests before Butte-Silver Bow Sheriff Ed Lester and Butte-Silver Bow firefighter Derek Harvey offer remarks.

The ceremony will also feature a video about the events of Sept. 11 with personal stories of many who lost their lives.

The Knights of Columbus Hall is located at 224 W. Park Street. The entrance to the Felix Madrazo Gym is on Idaho Street.
